Tuesday Time Saving Tip - be prepared for illness

One thing I learned this week? Be prepared for the next time your family is sick. What do you have on hand? What do you need? In my house it's things like a working thermometer, pain/fever medication, electrolite drinks, high starch foods, basic first aid items. Hopefully you never have to use them, but just in case you do, it's far better to have them at home than to worry about how to get them when you or your little ones are sick.

Tuesday Time Saving Tip - Love Leftovers

Get creative with leftovers, they can make a super quick meal. Tonight we had nachos. The meat was leftover from tacos. Add cheese, tomato, sweet pepper, green onion, with salsa and low fat sour cream and yum! Left over chicken can be used a million ways, I luv tossing it into pasta or to make a super quick stirfry.
